About The Site

I created this community as a way for fanfiction authors of different fandoms to meet and have the opportunity to write and read new stories.   Like the homepage says, let me just tell you that efiction is really confusing for me... or it might just be that I'm too lazy to put enough thought to it, but let's just pretend that I just don 't understand it for now, shall we?

Specifically, this is a sight for youfiction, otherwise known as insert-you's or reader-inserts.  These types of stories are scattered throughout the internet... and I wanted a place where you could find a bunch of it all in one place.  Just makes things easier, doesn't it? 

Other than that, there's nothing more to the site.  Perhaps, in the future, I'll figure out efiction (or not be so lazy...) and use that to make my own fanfiction archive for reader-inserts, but who knows? I certainly don't even know myself, so it's nearly impossible for anyone else to.  We'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

Aw, I'm touched.  You're actually wanting to read about me (that, or you 're being forced to, or are insane, or...).  Whatever the reason, you're here reading this, so I might as well give you something to read at all.

I'm 14 years old, and I'm currently in 8th grade.  I'm in Honours classes in school, so despite my slight insanity online, I'm actually smarter than I make myself seem.  That, or I'm a compulsive cheater on tests and cheated my way to Honors classes... but whether or not that is true, I will never tell.  I must remain inconspicuous.  >.>  <.<   Anyway, I live in the United States (take that as being good or bad as you will), in the state of Pennsylvania.

I live with my grandparents and two sisters, although I have a younger brother as well who lives with my mother.   My house is pretty much an animal farm... we have 4 dogs living inside, 1 outside; 1 cat inside the house, and 2 outside; 5 birds of varying species; 1 turtle; and 2 or 3 small lizards and one of those really small frogs that can practically sit on one of your fingertips.    Cats are my favourite animals, but they always seem to run away or die from cancer...   Poor kitties, Alphonse would be crying along with me if he was here at my house, and...er.. real.

I enjoy writing, namely fanfiction, but would like to work on my own novel someday.  (But I can never seem to stick to one idea...)  My favourite colours are black and red (NOT because I'm completely obsessed with Edward Elric! I've always liked those colours.. except for when I was a lot younger and liked lime green... >.> )  Recently, I've been looking into voice acting and I'm contemplating giving it a shot.  If I only had a working voice recorder on the damn computer...

Apart from being obsessed with Harry Potter and its fandom (my first true obsession! This explains why I often use British spellings more than American-English spellings.) I have an unhealthy obsession with various anime and manga.   You can probably guess one of them already just by reading this little info blurb about me, if you've actually taken the time to read this far.  I like to sing, and I play the violin.  I 'dabble' a little with piano/keyboard, if you can call it that - I know basic things, and can play very little.   Although I'm in Honours, I often skip out on school.  I'm actually getting rather good at pretending to be sick or finding one excuse for another to stay home.  Er... other than that, there's no more to me.  I'm a pretty boring person, actually, with a very boring life.   That's about it.  I could ramble on some more, but I've probably got no one reading down this far anymore anyway, so I'd only be talking to myself.
